Self-Assessment Learning Module
An Online Self-directed Learning Tool on Medication Management and Contrast Media

Welcome to the ASHP Quality Improvement Initiative Self-Directed Learning Module!
This self-assessment tool is designed to help health care professionals identify aspects of the Joint Commission medication management (MM) standards and National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs) for contrast media use that may require additional attention as the pharmacy and radiology departments collaborate to meet the requirements.

This tool is not intended to provide a comprehensive review of contrast media or Joint Commission requirements pertaining to contrast media. Rather, it has been designed to help health care practitioners focus their efforts and improve safety at their institutions.

How it Works
To begin the self-assessment process, enter your e-mail in the space below and click the begin button. You will be asked a series of yes/no questions. You must answer each question. After answering all the questions, the tool provides a report that lists additional information and resources that may be helpful based on the answers you provided. If you are unable to complete the assessment in one sitting, you can return at a later time and resume the survey – just enter your e-mail in the "returning users" box below and click "resume survey."
