Accreditation for Pharmacists

ACPE LogoThe American Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. The program provides 2.0 hours (0.2 CEUs) of continuing education credit (program number 204-000-08-461-H01P).

Accreditation for Physicians

ASHP LogoThe American Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. ASHP designates this educational activity for a maximum of 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Methods and Format

This activity consists of a self-study continuing education publication, post-test, and activity evaluation tool. Participants must read the entire publication, take the activity post-test, and complete the evaluation to receive continuing education credit. A minimum score of 70% is required on the test to receive continuing education. Upon completion of the online CE test, participants may print their official statements of continuing education credit immediately. The estimated time required to complete this activity is 2 hours. This activity is provided free of charge.

This continuing education activity will be beneficial to managed care professionals including pharmacists, medical directors, managed care executives, pharmacy benefit managers, and others who are involved in health management and research, outcomes management, and pharmacoeconomics.
